Speed Up and Simplify Parking at PIT
PIT Express Pass is a quick and convenient way for frequent flyers to electronically pay for their parking via registered payments - no additional cards, no cash and no hassle. By registering for a PIT Express Pass account, travelers are provided with a transponder tag that automatically links to a designated credit account. Once the transponder tag is programmed and installed in the car, users simply enter the designated parking lane and wait for the transponder to be read. You’ll have access to dedicated PIT Express Pass Lanes and your receipts will be sent automatically via email. With PIT Express Pass, parking is made easy.
Set Up Your Account
You can use any major credit card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX & Discover) to sign up. Simply fill out the online form. You will receive a small electronic tag in the mail, which you will need to install on the inside of your windshield. This tag contains an electronic chip unique to you, allowing you to enter and exit any of the parking lots at the Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT).
E-ZPass Users
Your E-ZPass device can double as your PIT Express Pass tag. Just bring a copy of your completed application and your E-ZPass device into the Airport Parking office, located adjacent to the main exit plaza, to register. (The credit card you use for your PIT Express Pass account may be different from the one you use for the turnpike.)
Instructions
- Enter the lot of your choice via the PIT Express Pass lane.
Do NOT press the button for a ticket. The transponder tag on your windshield will be electronically read by an overhead antenna that will record your entry and allow the gate to open. For any unread passes, use the 'Help/Assistance' button for intercoms support to the Parking Office, to help override/update your details. - Exit via any PIT Express Pass lane.
The transponder tag will again be read by the overhead antenna, the applicable product parking fee will be applied to your credit card account, and the gate will open. That’s it. Fast, easy and convenient - with an automated receipt to your email.
